Sausage Balls
Tried this one out the other day. it almost tastes just like the real thing.
1 lb. hot sausage
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
2.5 cups Carbquick (a low carb bisquit mix)
Preheat oven at 400. Mix all ingredients together in large bowl. roll out mixture in quarter size balls. (I usually make this amount and take them out of the fridge or freezer as needed.) Place on baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until browned. (I tend to like them really dark). Best eaten when hot. This makes for a delicious snack or finger food and only one-time prep work.
