Default You'll Love The Book, Too!

Hi there!

Thanks for sending on the thanks about the Barry Groves' site. If he's your kind of guy, then get hold of the book! I'm not getting any money for doing this (maybe I should try to ); I just really enjoyed his stuff and found it all very readable and all the theories very plausible.

Happy Reading and pass the word to anyone you know who's interested in nutrition and health.

Cool Update On My Son's Cholesterol

I just wanted to post an update on his latest cholesterol numbers. I will need to request copies of his labwork from the Dermatologist, but I just talked to my husband.....his triglycerides have dropped 100 points in 2 months, and his HDL has gone up (it went up 30 points the first month on low carb, not sure of the total increase overall), and LDL is down. Again - I don't get to go to the appointments since I am at work - but how INCREDIBLE!!! It just proves without a shadow of a doubt that this WOE is the way our bodies were intended to eat.

Also - My husband has joined in eating low carb He has surpassed my weight loss - He does gloat a little bit - I am stuck/stalled, but I know that I am eating right for my body, so I am not terribly upset.

Anyhow - I just wanted to post that the Accutane is not contributing to my son's high cholesterol, and that through low carb, his cholesterol numbers are completely turned around I will update if I can get the "actual" numbers from the labwork also...

His complexion is also improved, though not 100%, but much better.
