......but for me personally the pilates has given me a far leaner stronger body than many years in the gym with a trainer ever did. Only draw back is it can be expensive for one on one sessions.
I agree with Hamblets.
Pilates "defines" body muscles and makes you look leaner and shaped. Right posture, synchronization, pace and breathing are the keys so you're lucky an instuctor will be watching you! Yoga often is combined with pilates. They both give you the feeling that you're in control of you body and mainly of the abdominals
