Default TV Interview re: 100lb+ Weight Loss

I'm cross posting a bit here, I posted about this in the LC Research/Media forum, but felt it was probably more appropriate to post it here.

On May 22, 2007, on the Gill Deacon Show (a Canadian women's talk show) on the CBC, there was a segment on losing more than 100 lbs. I found out about it on a different low-carb support board and contacted them and they added me to the show.

The segment is mostly about being more than 100lbs overweight and what that means, but I did manage to get a good plug in for low-carb and how it was what enabled me to lose the weight.

If anyone is interested in seeing it, I've managed to load it on Youtube.

I had to split it into two files since Youtube will only take a 10 minute max file and the interview was about 12 minutes. I could have cut out the intro but it was still too long, so I left it in.

I'm the one in the pink if it's not obvious from the show.

AWESOME VALERIE!!!!!! TREMENDOUS!!!! SPECTACULAR!!!

You did an *excellent* job of telling your story and getting the Low Carb message out there. You were confident, approachable, on-point, and very well spoken. I can't imagine a better interview. Thanks for posting the video on youtube and for sharing the links!!!

You are really an inspiration to me and to many others, not just for your 100+ lb weight loss (a one-time victory that is excellent) but EVEN MORE for your continuing on the Low Carb lifestyle and for hanging around here encouraging others and sharing what you have learned (probably a bigger victory).

You are showing us all what it means to LIVE low carb long term - not just DIET low carb (yo-yo and rebound). I sure appreciate that and all that you are doing to help share, support, and encourage others!!

KUDOS!!!!

Thanks, I was pretty nervous, but in the end it was good. I was pleased I was able to sneak in a little low-carb plug as they weren't really looking at that angle at all, but I wanted to get it in.
