Default YUMMY Strawberry smoothie or margaritta

this is a wonderful low carb and yet healthy treat to have.

you can make it two ways, one with more cream so it's more of a smoothy or less cream with more ice so it's a frozen fruit ice cup.

blender:
throw a few ice cubes, 3 strawberries, 2 tbs of simple syrup, and 1/2 c of whipping cream and blend. (6 carbs)

or my favorite-

magic bullet-
3 frozen (no sugar added) strawberries, a splash of simple syrup, and a 1/4 c. of whipping cream...

this is absolutely divine if you love strawberries like me.

3 frozen no sugar added strawberries on fitday is 2.3 carbs and the whipping cream if your using is 2 carbs so total is 4.3 carbs. it is well worth it!

if you want to make this a margaritta just throw 4 strawberries, 4-5 cubes of ice, 1/8 c of simple syrup, and a dash of tequilla and you got a great home made margaritta that rivals any restaurants or bottled mix .

Yikes!

Simple Syrup is one part water to two parts sugar.

DaVincci makes a sugar free simple syrup. Otherwise if you are using the real stuff, then yes you are putting in super saturated sugar.

Can't wait to try this. Of course first I need to get simple syrup. As I only have Davinci's vanilla & raspberry.

Do you think it would be Ok to use a flavored syrup, like a touch of vanilla,it might add to the flavor.
