Default Mackerel Pate

One of my own. I love pate and anything creamy like this. A yummy way to eat tinned fish.

Mackerel Pate, 1.5g

Serves 1

50g Mackerel in brine, tin (or packet)
15g Cream cheese
1 tsp (5g) Horseradish
½ tsp Splenda (sucralose)
1 tsp single cream
Salt to taste

Optional:
½ tsp lemon juice (add 2g carbs)
½ tsp mustard powder if you don’t have horseradish

Drain the mackerel thoroughly. Really squeeze out that water.
Break it up in a bowl.
Add all other ingredients and mix well.

Goes well with veggie sticks/pieces (cucumber, celery, that sort of thing).

I had it yesterday wrapped up in lettuce leaves.
