Good Morning!

First official weigh in...and had a good start (mind you the flu helped).

Week ending Feb 08...is 152 [was 155], so a 3 pound loss!

Now I don't expect these results again...unless I get sick

Anyway I'm a happy litte person this morning..definately pumped!

Hopefully next week I can achieve my 2.5 loss.

Hope to see more awesome results from folks today....let's keep up the motivation.

p.s. sorry for those of you with that TOM...I hear ya and my time will be coming around too. So no matter your doing great as long as your treating your body right. You go girls! [guys included]

Rachel.....off to change her stats LOL!

My results weren't as dramatic - but spent the week recovering from family events and a super bowl party so Im just glad to have some improvement to report!

After weighin on Friday Feb. 1st: 151

Talking Great Job Everyone!

I lost 5 this week. Today is my last day of induction, so that should explain the weight loss. This challenge gives me something to look forward to.

Default So Week 1...overall, not so good...

So I weigh 141.5.....ahhhh that's 1.5 heavier than when I started last week I did cheat really bad last weekend, I'm determined to have an excellent week this week...and be below the 140 marker. Wish me luck.

After weighin on Friday Feb. 1st: 140
Week 1 Ends the morning of Feb 8th - 141.5
Week 2 Ends the morning of Feb 15 - below 140!!!
Week 3 Ends the morning of Feb 22 -

And Kinberjeb - Welcome...great job. You may be able to get under 170...I mean some lose 12 on induction and that is only 2 weeks. Don't push too hard though. Are you staying on induction for the whole 5 weeks? Just curious

Well I didnt make it to my goal. I only lost 1 lb this week and that was on Saturday. I have been doing so well.. Cut out protein shakes, bars, drinking just water... and nothing.. arrgghhh

Default I took some measurements!!

After weighing myself, and being pretty upset I took my measurments. They have changed. Thank god..!!

I lost about 1/4 inch on my bicept

1 inch on my chest... and boobs (I hope they dont shrink to much more LOL)

1/2 inch on my waist
1 inch on my knee
1 inch on my calf
1/2 inch on the top of my leg...
and gained an inch on the top mid of my leg.

I know I measure alot of parts but I like to have a good idea of what is shrinking. I also have a pair of jean shorts that I wore just after my son was born and I can now do them up and actually sit down in them. I wouldn't wear them out in public but they are a good referance since I dont wear tight cloths..

So I guess the lesson learnt here is that you can still loose inches without loosing lbs.. even though it is NOT fair

tlcdoula, All those inches are wonderful! 4 inches in all, that is not nothing, that is everything! (But no it's not fair!) That is great about your shorts. I did the same with a skirt this morning.

Erin, You will get below 140 in no time with your great attitude! Have you done your measurements?

Hey Gang!!! WEEK 1..... FEB. 8

I thought I'd be here just to root everyone else on but.....

I LOST 2 POUNDS!!!!

And inches.....

Waist.... lost...3/4 inch
Hips....lost....1/2 inch
Thighs..... lost...1/4 inch

Those are the only parts I measure..... thats where I really want to see a difference (don't really need verification that my not so big bustline is getting smaller )

Have been tweaking my menu for about a week and half... and I guess its finally paying off!!! Still have some work to do on it but I think I'm headed in the right direction now!!

Just don't expect to have such results from me next week!!

You're doing great!!! A pound is a pound!!! One pound closer to goal!!! And excellent work on the inches!!! Thighs are my sore point--- not easy to get the flab off them!! I want tight thighs by summer (maybe by THIS summer ) You're sure getting those thighs moving----great!!!

Don't stress over that little gain! Sometimes my weight goes up just before I drop weight. Maybe its water weight due to come off...I don't know... but it happens to me. You'll get some action this coming week!!

Well, here are my results for the first week. I expected more but I guess I can't complain with 3.5lbs.

Friday Feb 1 - 152
Friday Feb 8 - 148.5

Total lost: 3.5 lbs!!!

Hope to see you all next Friday.

My Goal is to lose another 3 pounds by then. I'm still on induction, but have had carb days greater than 20g.

3 weeks on induction.

Loving it!

Exercise - 5 days /wk

30 min. - treadmill
30 min weights-upperbody and lowerbody alternate days

Thumbs up OMG, high school pants are one with my thighs again

Weeeeeeeeee!!

Weighed myself today at the gym and am at 169!! I am shocked and chagrined. Especially as my TOM came today.....I think I am spazzing imagining what I will weigh when the evil Tom leaves......I tried on my vintage Levi jeans that I used to wear in high school and early college (pre-boyfriend) .....and they fit!! I also appear to have lost .75 inches on my waist and 1 inch on my hips. Didn't measure my thighs, but must have shrunk (as they fit into the pants).

I am so happy right now, and happy for us all!!!!!! We are all the sh*t.

And Erin, let me tell you, don't worry about the itty bitty gain. Ellie is right about the possible whoosh coming for you. I was up to 174 three days ago mysteriously and then yesterday I felt all tingly and shaky and now I am smaller!
