Default Dessert drinks

Hi,

I've come up with a few dessert drinks that are yummy and low in carbs and a nice change of pace. Each drink has 10g fat and 1-2g carbs. Enjoy!

Orange Creamsicle
2 T heavy cream, 6 T water, 1 pkt splenda, 1/8-1/4 tsp orange extract

Coke Float
1/3 can of CF diet coke poured into 2T heavy cream

Egg nog
2T heavy cream, 6T water, 1 pkt splenda, 1/8-1/4 tsp rum extract, nutmeg on top

White Russian
2T heavy cream, 6T water, 1T DaVinci Kahlua-flavored syrup, 1 pkt splenda

Raspberry Creamsicle
2T heavy cream, 6T water, 1T DaVinci raspberry syrup, 1 pkt splenda

I toss a scoop of vanilla whey and some ice cubes in any of those flavor combinations for a tasty breakfast shake! Okay, maybe not with soda, LOL!

Also, many Crystal Lite flavors work well in flavored drinks like these (i.e. the raspberry powder in the Raspberry Creamsicle).............

Here's another one, but this one has about 5g carbs:

Hot Chocolate -- 1 serving

2 T cream
7 oz water
1 T cocoa
2 pkts sweetener
dash salt
dash cinnammon (optional)

Mix cream and water in cup and nuke until almost boiling. Meanwhile place cocoa sweetener and salt in mug. Pour hot cream over and stir very well.

Thanks!

I was really in the mood for a sweet treat last night, but I'm in the middle of a few days of going "very low carb". I made a drink of:

2 TBL cream
1/2 cup water
2 TBL Da Vinci Irish Cream

warmed it up in the microwave and it really hit the spot!

Elle-
thank you so much for these great ideas.

I have Davinci 'sweetener' also called 'simple syrup' which is unflavored which I can use in place of splenda to save and extra carb.

I appreciate that you take the time to share these with us!
