8 chin ups


65 miles and 710' of climb (on Saturday) on the bike

This past weekend was the Bike MS ride. Over the 2 days I rode

155 miles
2,900' of climb

7,200 cals expended.

Did I drop a pound or two? Ah, no. It was a great time tho

Don't feel great. Could be pollen in teh air, or a cold coming on. And then thee is the groin boil I seem to have developed...

Great Sunday afternoon pedal with pals Frank & Therese. 32 miles to the Slapout store. (Yes, Slapout,AL. Named because it was slap out in the middle of nowhere. Civilazation has since grown up around it) 195 M (640 pretty flat) of climbing I can really tell a difference in my riding with less junk in my trunk to haul around.

A week from now, will be day 1 of my trans TN bike ride. If all goes to plan, I'll use the vacation week to follow the roads of the MS River Trail through TN and so as much sightseeing from the saddle of my bike as I can.

Not too peppy this morning:

15 pull ups
100 sit ups
11 chin ups x 2 sets
30 + 40 push ups

I think that getting the pushups tired me some and that's why I fell back 1 on the pull ups.
