Question can anyone explain yeast die off reaction?

Hi

I have noticed on this forum post mentioning yeast die off reaction. What is it exactly and why do you get it? What are the symptoms?

I haven't been feeling too great lately and wondered if it's something to do with this. (i'm way past induction flu as i'm well into OWL)

TIA

Go and have a look at the Candida thread under health stuff.
Many women are harbouring Candida overgrowth which feeds on yeast and sugar. When you eliminate them from the diet the Candida starts to die off. As it does so it releases lots of horrible toxins into the body which cause a wide range of symptoms.
I'm going through it myself right now and it's odd.
the good effects of the WOE make you feel great then suddenly you plummet into headache, fuzzy head, aching joints, stomach cramps etc
It means your immune system is fighting back and has just successfully zapped another deep rooted knot of Candida. Drink loads of water and wait it out. If this is your problem you'll feel better soon.

I had a look in that section and still didn't find what i was looking for :/

what i would like is to find a link which would tell me that the die off symptoms are like and how long they go for.

if you or anyone has such a link plz let me know.

TIA
