Wow, I'm impressed. I could never run a daycare center. That takes a really special person. I have three kids myself, 5, 17 and 19. Hi to everyone

Mooch you are right! Taking care of your own kids is easier, I find.

Sometimes I wonder if it is easier or not, lol Not really, I have some great kids. Good for you, Neela. How's everyone been feeling this year? It sure does seem like everyone I know, including my kids, have been getting some sort of the flu and when they get it, it knocks them out for almost a week. So far so good for me, I haven't gotten it. My work gave us free flu shots so hopefully I will be spared, lol

I work in child care at our gym. I have been doing it for almost 12 years now! Not only do I get to play toys & color for 2 1/2 hours a day, I get paid for it! I also get a free family gym membership & tanning (I don't use it though.)

That sounds perfect. That I would love to do. You should go in early or stay after and take advantage of the gym membership you get.

I feel your pain!

I have 4 kids of my own, and usually 6 daycare kids. Laundry. Ugh. I wish we could just buy new clothes when they ALL get dirty. And it seems like they all get dirty at the SAME TIME! AAAK!

OOPS! I DO use the gym membership, but I DON'T use the free tanning. I love working there, when I first started I didn't know I got paid hourly as well, I was just thrilled getting the free membership!

Hi erin and alp, welcome. How are you both doing? You are pretty far from me but in nice areas. How are you doing on your L/C'ing? Are you following Atkins? I haven't weighed myself in awhile, but I am on maintence now and have been staying the same size. I am thrilled that I found Atkins, it works with me so well that I have been on it since 2001 and kept the 60'sh pounds off.

East China is just a tad bit north of Marine City & a smiggin' south of St. Clair - right along the river
