Default can those of you with hypothyroid tell me about the symptoms?

I just came back with a possibly high TSH level and am now wondering if I have hypothyroid, and if that is affecting my weight loss. As I look at the symptoms of hypothyroid, I can see many that could apply to me...brittle nails (my whole life) hair loss, sluggish weight loss. but I feel fine and have no symptoms that really affect my quality of life. I've read some other posts, and some of you with this condition are really ill! is it possible to have hypothyroid with no quality of life issues, would I have more severe symptoms if my thyroid was really acting up?

At the top of the message forum there's a sticky with a list of symptoms and other possible questions.

The effects of hypothyroid can come on so gradually that you don't notice them. Sleeping too much, fogging thinking, poor memory, water retention, being too cold all the time. While none of them leaps out and screams "I'm sick", they do indicate an underlying problem. And there are long term issues with hypothyroid, like osteoperosis and some others.
