Default Bahamian Buffalo Shrimp in Wing Sauce

1 lb of shelled, deveined shrimp
enough oil to cover bottom of frying pan (doesn't take very much)
1 jar of your favorite wing sauce (hot or mild)
1/2 stick of butter melted
2 cloves of fresh garlic pressed

Either purchase the frozen shrimp all ready cleaned or take 1 lb of fresh large shrimp, and clean and devein them.
Combine butter, wing sauce, and garlic in large enough bowl to hold 1 lb of shrimp. Heat sauce in microwave, or put sauce in small pan on top of stove and heat. (you'll still need a bowl to put cooked shrimp in)
keep warm.

Heat oil in frying pan

Cook the shrimp in 2 batches. Take 1/2 the shrimp, and flash fry in hot frying pan until pink in color. Remove and throw in bowl. Do the next batch same way. When done, gently toss shrimp in warm wing sauce and serve with lots of napkins.

Makes a nice appetizer for two, or meal for one person.

Everytime I make this, the kids lick the bowl.
This is a great dish to serve with cole slaw and beer!

This sounds amazing....we melt butter, garlic, and hot sauce and dip our crab meat and clams in it....and I never thought of it with shrimp...especially smothered in it! mmmm I am excited to make it.

This seems to go over with the younger crowd. My son asks for it every weekend. When shrimp is on sale, it's an excellent alternative to chicken wings.
