I did the M&E Fast for four days and it effectively broke my two month stall. I slowly added induction level carbs back in and kept the weight off. I didn't find it hard to do at all, wasn't hungry, didn't have any cravings. I even snuck in half a cup of veggies per day during the fast, made sure I took my supplements and drank loads of water and it worked like a charm.

Default just an observation...

I notice a common comment about this 'fast'...to paraphrase..."It breaks my stall, I lose weight fast, I have greater energy and feel great...but I don't think it's healthy" kind of reminds me of how the low-fat/low calorie diet believers view low-carb study results..."they lost weight and felt great, but not eating carbs MUST be unhealthy, so we don't recommend it" Are we too subscribing a bit to that view when we question the merits of this so-called fast? All we're really doing is the original Atkins... Re getting all your nutrients, do we even get that eating veggies these days? Everything is sprayed with pesticides and grown from mineral depleted soil, so we have to supplement either way....Re constipation, perhaps eating more fat and drinking more water will 'smooth' things out...

just my 2 cents...
