7/7 23 minutes done on the treadmill.
MisterE we all have those days, I almost didn't do it on Sunday. I waited until almost 9pm before taking my happy feet to the treadmill.
Everyone is doing great, keep it up.

18/18 days!!

Did some stretching this morning. I had planned on a more focused Pilates workout, but my cat was so pesty wanting too much attention while I was down on the floor! Went to the gym and worked out with upper body weights first, then 30 minutes on the elliptical, 1 mile (in 16 minutes!) on the treadmil, and then with lower body weights.

EVERYONE IS doing SO GREAT!!

MisterE don't worry about it. As long as you are being honest with yourself, you'll learn from your feelings and not use that excuse again, right? You are doing great!

10/10--30 minutes Power yoga. Everyday I am having noticable increases in my strength, endurance and flexibility and that IS the point after all! Gotta love the benefits of regular exercise!

Have a great, fit day all!

7/7. Today was my yoga class (60 minutes) and I followed it up with an hour of weighlifting. A funny thing happened at the gym - a real weightlifter told me "good job" as I strained for my last one of the set. I had to chuckle.

Way to go, Casey! I had a guy at the gym say he thought I was his wife because I was ignoring him and didn't notice he was there. I took a weight off of his bar and put it on the machine I was going to use! LOL There were just weights all around and I was momentarily confused. It was funny.

Workout bonus: Did an extra 1.75 miles on my treadmill after work!

19/19 days in a row... I am impressed with myself, especially because I so just wanted to go back to bed for a nap after working this morning instead of going to the gym!

I knew I would be too tired for the treadmill so I did an extra 10 minutes on the elliptical for a total of 40. I also did upper body and lower body weight machines at heavier weights today, so that felt good.

Default 20/20 days!

Hey gang! Glad to see everyone is going so well!

Today I started my serious weight training. The last two weeks of weights and cardio got my muscles primed to start with the barbell work/free weights...the hard stuff! My knees are aching but I know in a few days they will be a lot stronger. Right now I can only lift the 45-pound bar by itself and am looking forward to adding plates. Did a 10-minute cardio warmup on the elliptical and wanted to get in some more after my weights, but the daycare room closes at noon and my time ran out. I will try and squeeze in some treadmill work after I am done with my chores around the house. (Nice on my days off I have to clean the entire house..that should count as a workout!)

8/9. Walked two miles/34 minutes at the park today (it was too late for my normal lap) Missed yesterday! I knew yesterday would be tough because I had meetings from 5:30AM til 7PM so I'm ok with it, but I really don't want to miss another one during this challenge!!

Alicatspjz - 20/20!!!! That's fantastic. I hope you're really proud of yourself!!

I'm in!!! Just came back to this site today so I'm a little late but still want to join all of you. Works perfect for me since I am joining a fitness club tomorrow. Also I have committed to walking 2 miles a day at least three days a week with one of my friends that is under doctors orders to do! So tomorrow will be my day 1.

Best of luck everyone!

Cissie

10 for 10, did this and that.

Man, I was so bummed, got to the hotel last Sunday, first they closed the restaurant and then they closed the pool. What a rip. And it was about 15 minutes early each time that they did this.

Monday I had a rough time. I was so anxious about what I needed to do that I didn't get any sleep, waited until later in the day as I had to be up early. It worked out but not great. I was so stressed, nothing technical worked right. Nothing. Well, except for the mic.

Tuesday I was in meetings all day, they were upstairs, downstairs, down the block, etc.

Everyone is doing great, hang in there. We can do this. I am doing better this time than last challenge. Thanks everyone for joining in and doing this.

Wed, I walked.

Today I walked and bought a new bike to ride.

Marty
