Lightbulb good idea!

i would love to lose 25 lbs by christmas

here are my stats.

i'm 205 right now.

i'm doing atkins. i finished induction, but i'm still on it. some times i sneak in a little extra carbs. but so far so good.

a buddy of mine said i could go off on week ends, (she lost 60 lbs doing that, lucky bum!) but i ended up with massive headaches and retained water, so i'm not going to cheat anymore.

see you next week!

~Steph

It's great to see another group challange!

You may want to creat a thread for each group of buddies in our group journal. This way you wan maintain your updates in a journal, and we'll learn from you.

Check out the group journal forum, in the bootcamp section.

Good suggestion, Tamarian!

I went ahead and started a thread in the Journal/Boodcamp area, under group projects called "25 pound by Christmas Challange".

This way it will all be in one place as the weeks go by.

Bye-bye pounds!!!!

Thumbs up

This is great, count me in! It's too funny, just today I was telling a friend that I want to lose another 30 lbs. by Christmas. Of course I'd be thrilled with 25 too. Hope this gives me the motivation I need!

Wendy

Yikes! Is this possible? 3lbs a week...hmm...I'd love to take a shot at it! Does this mean I have go back on the induction or just stay below 40 carbs a day?

EBeth, I would think you would stay where you are, under 40 carbs, unless you would want to go back on induction, would be ok, I would think. Are you losing now?

I think I might join you guys. I have given myself a mini-challenge to loose 10 lbs. by New Year's Eve and if I join in with you guys it might help motivate me more.

I don't seem to loose easily ...

Beginning Weight 07/19/2000 - 174 lbs.
Current Weight 10/24/2001 - 159 lbs.
Mini Goal weight 00/00/0000 - 150 lbs.
Goal weight 00/00/0000 - 120 lbs.

See you in Bootcamp ...

Cool

You're ON, Girlfriend!!

That was already my first goal in my mind, so I am up for the challenge! I started at 275, but don't have a scale at home. I need to buy one, too! I go back to the doctor next Tuesday and have been on induction for 9 days now. I can feel the water weight gone and am fitting into smaller pants already. I estimate at least 5-6 lbs gone so far, maybe more.

Let's keep it up!
