Default Hashbrowns....Yes...Hashbrowns...

I am a big Hashbrown fan and this past week I made hashbrowns using Turnips.

First I grated the Turnips...then blanched them in some boiling salted water.

Then cook just as you would cook hashbrowns (olive oil with some butter tossed in at the end)....browned right up and made a great addition to my breakfast. One note...there is a lot of water in turnips...so you will need quite a few...but they don't have a super high carb count....so load up.
