May I be a beta-tester, too?

If so - thank you!

If not - I look forward to trying it when it's released to everyone.

Thanks for this wonderful website.

So far, so good, been entering the foods I use every day and then will just be able to click from the list? way cool!!!

Tried to enter a custom food, splenda and it gives me a reading of 27.0 g of carbs for 1 little packet so obviously I'm doing something wrong.

But it's a great tool, thank you very much for developing it.

Are you sure it's 27 grams per small packet? It maybe per 100 grams (or ounce, depending on your display settings). But if you entered the servings correctly when creating the cusom item, you should be able to select 1 packet, instead of 100 grams.

Give it a try, and let me know if you still have a problem with it.

Wow!

I liked how I could highlight EVERY recent food at one time and add to todays list! That was great!

Is pilates going to be on the excercise list?

The weight chart did not show my increase from yesterday. What could I be doing wrong. I submited both weights, it is only showing yesterdays?

I love it! I am so glad it is here!

You can create any exercise you like through the "Custom exercise".

But some items that might be quite popular, like pilates, can be added to the main group of default exercises.

Anyone knows what's the average calories burned, per minute, per pound, for pilates?

This might a browser cache problem. Try hitting the "refresh/reload" button on your browser, and see if it updates correctly.

From this link, I found the following estimate of pilates calories:

Quote:
IT'S not easy to determine how many calories you burn in yoga or Pilates since the intensity of the class depends on the exercises being done and the strength levels of participants.

In general, a 130-pound person would burn approximately 260 calories an hour for a light to moderate Pilates mat-class and 236 calories for a yoga class. "Intense" Pilates would burn approximately 346 calories while an intense yoga class would burn about 400 calories per hour.

Your weight helps determine how many calories you burn (the more you weigh, the more calories you burn), so use the following formula: Divide the number of calories burned by 130 pounds. Multiply the answer by your weight in pounds.

For example, divide 260 calories by 130 pounds. The answer is 2 calories per pound. Multiply that by 110 pounds. The answer is 220 calories.

Entered my food intake this morning, at this site and also at fit day, here are the readings for both.

LCForum's Diary.....................................Fitday's Diary
Cals 542 ..............................................Cals 490
Fat 44.8...............................................Fat 41
Prot 27.3..............................................Prot 21
Carb 6.6...............................................Carb 9

Now mind you I prefer this forum's reading of course, because it is less than the Fitday one, but just wondered at the 2.4 g difference in just one meal.

I expect the difference comes from the nutritional database being used. We're using the USDA database, SR-17, the latestest updated version. I'm not sure what Fitday uses, probably a combination of many sources.

To find the item causing the difference, I would click on each item to get to the detailed nutritional information, and compare them for the serving used.

Not a big deal, but would be interesting to know
