Default Finally Found Pants that Fit

I have always had a hard time finding jeans, slacks, any pants that fit me properly. For years I made my pants. Then I was a size 14 for many years and found one brand of pants that fit pretty well. Then I started losing weight and I had to alter everything I bought. I was buying petites because I thought they fit better than misses but now that I am a size 8, I find most petites too short. I finally decided that I would alter a pattern and start making my pants again. My favorite jeans have been altered twice and still only fit "OK."

I have no idea why but today as I went into the local WalMart, I though of trying on men's pants. I am 30" in the waist so I decided to try men's 30-30. I am about a 29 inseam but can handle 30 if I wear a bit of a heel. I tried on one pair and they fit beautifully. The best fit in pants I have ever had in my entire life. Then I picked up a pair of jeans. I have big legs so I compared the leg of the slacks I had tried on to the leg of the jeans and found that I needed a "loose fit." I bought them without even trying them on. They too fit really well. The jeans are a bit loose in the waist but with a belt they too are great fitting.

I cannot begin to tell you all how excited I am. Life is good.

That is awesome. I often times buy men's jeans because I have a belly, much like a man, and not much of a butt. When I started this WOL I was wearing a 38 or a 40 inch waist. I am now down to a very comfortable 32 inch waist. Keep up the good work.
