Easy! I pour just enough olive oil in the pot to cover the kernals when I add them. I always toss in two kernals with the olive oil so that when they pop I know to add the rest. I usually just cover the bottom of the pan with one layer of seeds! Throw the lid on fast and gentle shake it across the burner. My poor burner is so scarred from this. Anyhow, when the popping slows down remove from heat! I then dump it in a bowl, drizzle real butter (salt free) and then shake some parmesan cheese on it! Just too good! You might burn the first batch, but don't get discouraged because it takes practice to know when to remove from heat. Oh yes, I set my stove to medium high! Enjoy!
