MsTwacky, maybe you should contact the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and have them point you in the right direction. They should be able to give you most of that kind of information, or at least tell you how to get it.

All of Eastern WA has 4 seasons. So Wenatchee might be good for you but there's a lot of other neat areas over there as well. Wenatchee is close to beautiful Leavenworth and the Methow Valley. There's a lot of great recreational activities close by. I know nothing about it's housing, job market, or cost of living.
If you want 4 seasons, you're not gonna find it in Vancouver. Although their summer weather is hotter and drier than most of Western WA, you won't really experience the 4 seasons there like you will in Eastern WA.
I think the idea of contacting the Chamber of Commerce in any area you want to move to is a good idea.

Seattle
I live in Seattle and LOVE it. I moved here from NC (Raleigh/Chapel Hill area) a year and a half ago. Seattle is so liberal & active, and the scenery is beautiful. I'll never move again. The traffic is bad during rush hour, which is why it is smart to live near work. My commute here is 15 minutes, while in NC it used to take me more than an hour to get anywhere.
Does anyone know of an actual LC club or something in Seattle?

Welcome everyone from Washington. I'm in Issaquah

I made the decision to live close to work this time. In NC, the drive from one side of Raleigh to the other, or from Raleigh to Chapel Hill, can easily take more than an hour during rush hour.
Hi all -- I'm in Brier! (And I've lived in Edmonds, Issaquah, Newcastle, Tukwila, and Seattle -- Lake City, Shoreline before it was a city, and Ravenna.)
I grew up in New Jersey, and I think the traffic here is bad, but nowhere near as bad as trying to get into New York City. And this is such a beautiful place to live, I can't imagine moving out of the area.
Myl name is Nicole, I am 26 and I live in Seattle. I am looking for a pen-pal nearby or even just a new friend that is LC in the area. Plese send me an email if you are interested and then I will tell you more about me and vice versa.

Hey Mattawa (csoar), I'm here in Moses Lake. What are you up to out there? I'm actually five miles east of town, out where you can rent a semi-decent mobile for $350 a month (yay). And it's out where nobody cares if my dog barks (red heeler she-devil).
