I have been in from the pool about 15 minutes. It is near five and so I am hungry and have accomplished 5 days of exercise this week. HOORAH!!!! Way to go ME!!! LOL!!!

Swimming: 40 laps x 64feet = 3,360 feet--Almost a half mile swimming. Hum wonder how long it will be before I swim a mile???

Here is wishing everyone a great day and an even better tomorrow.

Alice,
that is totally awesome. I don't think it will be all that long before you will be doing the mile in the pool. Great going.

Swimming: 45 laps x 64 = 2,880 ft.--Today--over half mile swimming!!! Corrected Saturdays swim length back where it should have been.

Have a great day everybody. This about wore me out and I still have laundry to do.

Before I left at 9 am to take Drew to play practice I tried to drink a citrus shake and about lost it. Took a strawberry shake with me and 1/4 cup of blueberries and drank and ate the berries before I went in to the complex. By then I could get my stomach to accept the stuff.

Talked to Angie about eating before I lifted and she said 10 carbs was a good amount so will try to hold it there. Came home hungry and ate protein. Took my L-glutamine--5 grams.

Drank 30 ounces of water during my exercise routine today.

Joan--if you were male I would call you "Da Man!!" I made it 2 minutes on the elliptical trainer and had to stop 3 times.

Bike riding x 30 minutes at 2.8-2.9 mph.

Elliptical trainer--2 minutes x 3 stops --almost ashamed to put that down.

Several years ago when I first tried out the elliptical machine, I think I made it just about a minute, huffing and puffing The good news is you did do 3 minutes.

Hugs,
Joan

--Joan--I wish--I only made it 2 minutes with 3 breaks. You are absolutely right about it being hard--not on the knees but on my darn thighs. I talked to a school teacher there today who has been doing it for over two months and she told me she is only now able to do it for 5 minutes without stopping. I am totally amazed at your strength Joan. What a woman we have amongst us Mischa.

Mischa--I didn't realize that you do the elliptical too. Holy Moly--it is really a bummer isn't it--Well- not for you two who are into the Burn. You know I can only keep my hand on a hot burner just so long Same with the burn in the muscle.

Tomorrow--off to do my weights again--I like that better than cardio.

Food for the day:

Breakfast: coffee, cream, sausage
Lunch: lettuce tomato, cheddar cheese , ham , and Mayo salad.
Afternoon snack: 1/4 cup pecans
Dinner: Pot roast, mashed cauliflower potato, 1 slice tomato--Dessert: a fudgesicle.
Evening snack will be celery.

Calories: 1,854.5
Carbs: 28.35
Water so far: 50 ounces

Thanks for stopping by--Hope you have a great evening.

Hey Alice,
great news on the inches lost, and in such a short time. I think if you do the pool tomorrow you may have to break the ice.

Hugs,
Joan
