Unhappy Update

Hi all, I have no good news to report. I need a serious kick in the butt. I made no progress in the last two weeks, due to my own negligence. The scale has gone up to 262. I am going to grocery shop today and stock the foods I need to get restarted, and write an action plan to put on the fridge. I know I can do this I have just been slacking big time. Next week I will have progress to report. Somebody please give me a kick.

Default Can I Join?

Hello.............I'm new and I hope I can join y'all!!!

Seems as though everyone is doing great. I just started the lc wol last Mon...I'm down 8 lbs. I made it through my first weekend ever...without a carb. I'm so proud!!!!

I haven't started an exercise program as of yet...but getting my eating under control was my first priority (I'm an emotional eater). Best of all, with lc I'm not hungry!!! YAY YAY! Anyhow, I had a breakthrough last week when I had a fight with dh only to find myself standing in front of an open pantry staring at potato chips and crackers. It was though I automatically went there! I consciously pulled myself back to reality and went "Woh, what are you doing?"

I'm glad I realized what was triggering this. Incidentally, I threw all those carby things in the garbage!!!!

Good luck everyone...my goal is 260 by labour day. Currently 266.

Are we still going to name our team? If so, lets kick around some name this week and maybe vote on them.

I had a weigh in and I've lost 5lbs. I'm down to 323. (unless the weigh bridge is faulty...) So just to keep the pace up I'm going for 318 but I'm hoping for 316...

Put me down for 10lbs by 9/6! My first weigh-in is Wednesday, so we'll see how the week went.

Hello everyone. Well I have good news and bad news to report. Bad news first, I weighed in at 245 this morning. Good news, this weekend was NOT a good weekend of food. Went to a wedding from you know where on Saturday and there was NOTHING LC to eat so I had some meatballs and those little cocktail weiners but I am sure that the sauces they were cooked in were not low carb. This reception just kept lingering and lingering and the longer I sat there the hungrier (sp) I got. By the time the cake was cute I would have killed for a piece of something so my husband and I split a small piece. Then since we had already blown the day, we ususally have one refeed a month and so we decided to do it on Saturday instead of the 22nd since we had already not had a great day. So in that regard only being up one pound is awesome. Usually after a refeed I am up 3-4 pounds. So this week will be the true testimate. So congratulations to all those who are doing so well on this challenge. I feel pretty good about it and hope that next week will see a decline in the numbers.

Talk to you all later,
Jeanna

these are the latest numbers I have.. if these are incorrect.. please let me know.. I hope everyone can figure this new chart out.. if it is too weird.. let me know.. I will think of another way.. ??.. maybe.. LOL

i had another 2 pound loss for the last 2 weeks.. I have only 3 pounds left until goal.. if I go over (under?) goal.. I will be SO happy... since I set it low (because of the previous stall)

today is Tuesday the 17th.. we have 3 weeks left for this goal. Then we should set a new goal date, and goal weight.. what do you guys think?.. this has been good for me.. this team challenge.. I hope to keep it going...

I have been able to continue with my walking.. that and the weight loss is my goals here..

best of everything
everyone

dianna

Talking Back from the trailer

Hey everyone, I made it back in one piece Well after an eventfull past few days, I can't believe I am saying this but I am down I am sure the man upstairs is looking down on me, or feeling sorry for me from my paddle boating adventure with my 11 year old yesterday, my legs took a beating. I weighed in tonite(usualy I weigh in the morning) scale read 219.5 bringing me down 5.5lbs this week, plus my bloating . When I left for the trailer I was still on my girlie week and looked as if I was expecting, boy did my ex hubby have a awful tragic look on his face Everyone seems to be doing really well. I am heading back to the trailer Friday with just my Mom and sister, both who snore.

You have to laugh at this! My trailer bathroom is very tiny and is hard even for me to to use, well my sister is , a also a big girl and my bathroom depresses her so she uses the public bathroom down the road from our trailer, well bless her heart at 3 in the morning Monday she decides she has to go and we could not find the flashlight(pitch dark outside) I did not want to leave the kids sleeping so I let her out of the trailer and stood in front to watch for her, well as soon as we stepped out of the door all you hear from the farm behind us is "MOO" "MOO" that bloody cow never stopped until we both went back into the trailer, as my sister says the thing probrally wondered why we were both let out of the farm We must have laughed for over an hour, waking my son up in the process. Have a great week everyone
Erica
