Hi...I can definately relate to the "toxic" feeling. A little disoriented, too thirsty, and muscle weakness. Just too much protien for my chemical make-up.

Congratulations on your weight loss! Look forward to seeing more up-dates.

Ellen

Hello Ellen140!

Thank you for the info on the veggies and salad. I guess I thought the more protein I had on the CM, the more fat I would burn. I have been eating my salad/veggies before my RM and am doing well with it. I work in a hospital so I have a wide range or foods to choose from. By the way I had blood work done today and it was marvelous! I like staying healthy. I go back to my doc in four weeks and we'll see what he has to say. Thanks for responding! I appreciate all suggestions!

Hi,
On the CALP if you are not losing weight at a rate that you feel you should be there is an option of medicines. They suggest taking all meds (if that is possible and if your doctor is ok with) during your RM. I don't know how often you have to take the meds, but this could be a factor in the weight loss.

Thank you for all of the helpful suggestions. I really do appreciate it. It will be one week for the CAD/CALP diet tomorrow and I have already dropped 2.5#. I am very pleased. Seems I couldn't chisel the weight off before.

I have been taking meds with my morning CM, more meds to take with my RM and before bed. I have been having a small snack at bedtime and taking my last dose. It must not be bothering my metabolism thus far. Keep me encouraged. I've got 22.5 more pounds to go!

I love this site. Everyone is so helpful!
