Default Question on taking Coconut Oil

How do you take it? I've been mixing it in tuna, yogurt & cottage cheese. Do you just take it straight? Just looking for some ideas.

I have never used it but I do love coconut - here is a thread that has some good information.

Good luck!

Orchid,
Thank you for the link! Lots of info & ideas there. I use the Spectrum Naturals Organic Coconut Oil, it doesn't taste like coconut at all, but the texture is similar to that feeling in your mouth when you eat chocolate (strange, but true). I totally recommend it because its not only good for you, but a painless way to get more fat in my diet.

I think coconut oil would be good to cook with....melt in a pan before you add meat or fish....I just bought coconut oil as an experiment...this is how I intend to try it.

Unfortunately I can't use it like I did when I was a teenager....I used to make popcorn!
