Thumbs up MSM, keeps skin firm and joints pain-free

I take MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) caplets. They eliminate joint pain from all that exercise we have to do. Also helps keep the skin firm as you loose weight. MSM can be found at health food stores. I get the Swiss brand. Athletes and folks with arthritis are often told to take MSM, again because it eliminates joint pain. I have a bit of a bum knee, but as long as I take my MSM, especially after workouts, there's no pain. I hear it's good for hair too.

I think I have tried this before. Refresh my memory, will it kill pain right away or is it one that builds in your body and takes a few days to work?

Thanks

For me, I felt the results within 24 hours. My knee was so painful I couldn't do my aerobics. After taking the MSM I was back on the mat the next day. But it could vary for others...

Does it really keep skin firm as you lose weight?

I have been taking it for pain control for a couple of years and it does work wonders for hair and nails, but I've got a bunch of loose skin, so I don't know if it helps with that. You have to take a lot to do anything for hair and nails. I get mine at Wal-Mart--much cheaper. I take 3 grams per day.

Sunny!

P.S. It usually takes a couple of weeks to build up in your system enough to help with pain.
