Did you find the essential oils or UDO'S OIL and some fiber supplements?

I haven't got those yet, i am planning to do that today, got carried out on the weekend.
I need your advise, this is the list of supplements i am taking right now:

1. RELACORE-three times a day

2. One a day men's health formula-one time a day

3. Chromium Picolinate (400 mcg Chromium)-one time a day,

4. Calcium+D (600 mg Calcium+200 I.U Vitamin D)-twice a day

5. Biotin (1000 mcg)- one time a day

6. Vitamin C (1000 mg, with with rose hips time release)-once a day,

is there anything that may increase my blood pressure, because i am having high blood pressure problem, and kind of headache on the back of my head...
I started taking Relacore and other vitamins like a week ago (before i was taking only "one a day men's formula" and calcium)
also i am planning taking supplements you suggested(vitamin B complex and oils),
please, let me know your opinion,
cause i am worried about my blood pressure,
if someone also have the same problem, what you guys are doing?

Do you know what your blood pressure is? Is the headache a BP headache or induction HA? You need to be concerned if the HA is from the BP, don't want to have a stroke!! I too have HBP, have since I was a wee one. I take my meds and I know when I have forgotten as I get a BAD BP headache!!

i'll try to find out though.
anyway, all started when i started taking RELACORE and i am worried if this is it...
i called to the number on the bottle and it they told me that relacore doesn't increase the blood pressure...
but i am still nervious to keep taking it...

I too have HBP, and on medication for it. I take Relacore. I've been taking my BP, and it has dropped. It's lower than it has been in many years. Probably due to the weight loss, but the Relacore hasn't had an effect on my BP.

Maximus,

If you think that you're having a HBP crisis you should call your Doctor and or go the hospital.

Are you presently on HBP medications? If yes, are you still taking your BP meds as directed? Have you been checking your BP to see what your readings are? You don't mess around with this. Strokes are permanent and can be deadly.

Now, to the next part. Assuming that your BP is ok and you don't need medical attention.

Exactly how long have you been doing ATKINS?
Have you been totally faithful to INDUCTION?
Are you having a bad case of carb withdrawal?
Plus, as I've written about before, your body is terribly depleted. You may feel like yuck for a couple of weeks until you get your body DETOXED OUT!

YOU CAN DO IT!

You can and must eat the correct foods, drink lots of water, take your supplements and STOP ALL FRANKENFOODS AND FRANKEN DRINKS NOW!

The sooner you follow the program the sooner you'll be detoxed and taking another step to your new life of loving yourself, you whole self.

In reply to your supplements.

RELACORE-three times a day

I myself, don't put too much stock in Relacore. But, there's plenty of information on this board about Relacore. You need to read and make your own opinion on this one.

One a day men's health formula-one time a day

Just suggest that when this runs out, get some Basic 3. Or GNC's Men's Formula.

Chromium Picolinate (400 mcg Chromium)-one time a day

Suggest taking 1 twice a day. Half hour before eating.

Calcium+D (600 mg Calcium+200 I.U Vitamin D)-twice a day

Think this is very important! If you were a female, suggest 3 a day. Take with a meal. It is absorbed better.

Biotin (1000 mcg)- one time a day

Why are you taking this? Is it to help you with diabetes? Helping your hair and skin, managing your blood sugar? Restless leg syndrom? It's part of the family of B vits. If you're following Atkins and eating lots of eggs, cheeses nuts, you probably won't need this. And if you take the B-Complex it will already be in that as well.

Vitamin C (1000 mg, with with rose hips time release)-once a day

EXCELLENT! A great jumpstarter to the other supplements. A super antioxidant and lots of other good things!

Atkins Essential Oils

Take this as directed. You really need those Omega 3's and the other goodies in here. Suggest later that you might try UDO'S OIL.
Take 1 tablespoon twice a day.

Garlic (1200 mg)

I assume you're taking this for your chloresterol. Personally feel fresh garlic is more effective. And you're already taking the B-complex. But, it won't hurt.

Super B-Complex

Very important for your system! Good investment! Already told you why this is important.

Later, you might think about adding some CoQ10 100mg once a day to feed your heart tissue. And some glutamine to calm those addictive urges which are hitting you. In addition it helps preserve lean tissue and helps clean the body and liver of waste products created by fat metabolism. And helps balance out moods since it feeds the brain.

Now, let us know if you had to go to the Doctor or not.

Thinking some more about your head ache ----

And, are you eating 5 -6 little meals a day? Or are you going 2 meals? You need to keep stoking the fire with fuel so it'll burn hot. If you don't feed the fire, the flames go down and the fat doesn't burn off. BUT YOU HAVE TO EAT WHAT'S ON THE ALLOWED LIST!

I strongly suggest you purchase a copy of Dr. Atkins' Vita-Nutrient Solution. It will answer all your questions and is a wealth of information.

I have hypertension. With lost weight and low carbing, my LC-friendly doctor has just taken me off my BP prescription to see if I can keep BP low without meds. I am using a Woman's Multi-Vitamin, Calcium-Magnesium-Potassium combo, CoQ10, Flax Oil, and Taurine. I'm in the process of figuring out the best combination for me. I take my BP several times a day to be sure of what's going on. Once I stabilize I won't be so neurotic, but BP is tricky and dangerous!

Get a copy of that book, it tells you what to take for all different kinds of medical conditions, and the best vitamins and nutrients for losing weight.

And, if you are concerned about your BP, get a monitor, they are not expensive and are well worth the investment.

Good Luck!

Many pharmacies (including those located in stores like Target, Walmart, etc) have a blood pressure machine you can use for free. Or you can buy a home kit. Or some fire stations offer free blood pressure testing.

I recommend the home kit and the pharmacy machines because you can get multiple readings over time instead of relying on whatever one reading you get at the doctor's or the fire station...

If you think your BP is high, do NOT take chances. Get it checked. HBP can kill you.

some vitamin supplements now have herbs included, check the back label for licorice root which can raise some people's blood pressure significantly.

thank you guys,

i have checked my blood pressure at walmart and then i bought blood pressure checker and it shows i don't have high blood pressure, Thank God!!!
And today i bought Fiber Therapy (100% Natural psyllium husk fiber) and Cholest Off (cholestrol fighter).
and now i have so many bottles with different dietary suppliments, and I am thinking is it too much?)
At this point i have a question,
if one starts taking too many vitamins and minerals can this slow down or stop weight lost?
