Kati, Products Forum Moderator here (and welcome!) ... I myself was born in Apeldoorn...

I merged your question about the creamy flavours with this long collection of conversations about people's favourite flavours, in hopes you would find the information you were looking for by reading through the whole "thread". Have you had a chance to do that yet?

Note that people's tastes will vary strongly. For instance, I LOVE the Raspberry flavour, and the French Vanilla and Dulce De Leche, too. Yet you don't like the Raspberry at all.

You may have to try and obtain the smaller bottles from your source, less "flavour risk" that way?

I really like the orange flavor in seltzer water. But, a caveat, it doesn't taste like real oranges. It tastes like orange soda (though less sweet), which is a highly artificial flavor, but I used to love orange sodas when I was a kid. So to me, it tastes great

I did a search this morning to find out more about Davinci syrups. Over the past couple of years I have tried some. I seem to either love it or hate it.

If you like Chai tea, ORDER THE SPICED CHAI FLAVOR!!! It's is sinfully DELICIOUS!!!

I wanted to ask this question though. Does anyone else have the experience of either loving them or hating them?

In what other ways do you use the syrups?

I have a littlebit the same experience. I absolutely did not like rasberry, it was just sweet not fruity, but I loved dolce die leche, irish cream is good, so is hazelnut. Vanille was not particularly psecial.
I use it when I have run out of "sugar". So you can use it for baking making desserts etc when you don't have any other sugar substitute. You might be able to make fruit smoothies and compote as well.

I don't know how much retail stores charge, but I buy the syrups directly from Davinci at www.davincigourmet.com, where the large bottles cost $7.49.

HTH,

Karla

I got the 12.7 oz french vanilla at Super Walmart today for $3.59. It was in the aisle with the coffee beans - and they only had SF french vanilla (they had other flavors w/sugar).

I get mine at TJMAXX and Marshall's. They're $5.99/ bottle there. They don't have many bottles, you have to look for them through all the other syrups, olive oils, etc, but to me it's easier and cheaper to buy them at those stores. I've found SF caramel, french vanilla, chocolate, irish cream, amaretto and chai tea. The chai tea is the best bargin I think because you only need to use a little bit- maybe 2 teaspoons- to flavor a cup of tea. The others I have to use more of to get it to the sweetness I like.

Cool

Thanks, Katie, for the tip! I checked the Marshall's in Leominster, Mass, and, they had chocolate and French vanilla, which I snagged ASAP. The cashier told me that the syrups disappear from the shelves as quickly as they stock them; could it be that there are lots of low-carbers in the area?

Default walmart?

I am sure I saw those at Walmart last night.
is it a tall bottle shaped like a wine bottle? Not a really big bottle but it is sold in the coffee section or nearby.
If I am not mistaken it was around 5 dollars.

I will double check the next time I am there.

Ohh this would be the superwalmart.. the one with the grocery store inside too.

I have been looking all over for davinci syrups! I looked at Super Wal-Mart but maybe I was looking in the wrong place. I'll check again next time I go. Does anyone know if they are good enough to make snow cones with?? Thanks!
