Thumbs up benefit of exercise

I cannot believe how I sabatoged myself this past week!! I definitely got lazy this week and skipped my usual 6:00AM workout. It was only a half hour every morning but thought that the extra yard work I was doing would make up for it. WRONG!!!! Not only do I feel more tired and lazy but the scale didn't go down and even went up a couple of pounds I know I shouldn't be suprised but I am. The key is getting in that exercise and doing it on a regular basis. I'm sure alot of people can lose without it but obviously, I'm not one of them. Back to the weights, mats and treadmill I go!

Only mentioning this in case someone is stalling and can't figure out why. Let's face it, you have to burn up some calories to get rid of them!

Hope everyone has a great day!

If this is truly a WOL then you must exercise daily. If boredom is kicking in, mix it up and try different ways of exercising, and change intensity occasionally to keep your metabolism wondering.............

I work out daily for an hour at the Y, 1/2 hour of circuit training, 1/2 hour on the Eliptical. On the weekends, I try to do something outside, walking for an hour is great, and I'm not bored. Eventually I'll add classes like Yoga an TaeBo, but for now my workout is giving me the results I'd hoped for.

Thanks to exercise, I'm not as stiff, I sleep better, my body has given up 'starvation mode' way of living I'd been doing for 20 years, I'm more positive, stuff just doesn't bother me like it used to. I used to find excuses to not go, now I can't wait for my workday to end so I can get there already!
