Good Morning!

Aci- pm'ed you two times ( they have a message limit! LOL!) anyways..hope this helps so we can see fun pics from you soon! Glad you got the ball rolling here this morning!

Ellie- Back before my hsyterectemy, I had to have a few d/c's as well, and like bawdy, found that it was a fairly easy procedure, and I felt so much better afterwards!

Robin- hang in there..relaxation is on its way by the sounds of it!

Unity- How are you feeling?

Orang- going to try your breakfast drink! By the way.. I really admire how you are sticking to things, and plugging along.. you are doing awesome.

Nelson- hiya.. its ok to vent..we ALL do.. these folks here really are great w/trying to see things from a different perspective. I wouldnt get to stressed tho.. you know STRESS stalls weight loss too!

Elaine- you are doing great to...getting prepared for your surgery! You are going to feel amazing aftewards! I wish I had had the time to prepare mentally, physically and emotionally for mine back when I had it done, but such is life.. it was a shocker for me at 25 to have to.. but months later, ( i had a slow healing.. emotionally I think was the big hold up factor there!) one day, I had an ephiphany in the kitchen, I must have moved in a familiar manner that triggered pain in the past, and it dawned on me, that I wasnt having pain, and I cried in such relief realizing how much I had become adjusted to living with.

Kat- aint the weather here GRAND?Was on the phone w/ dad in northern ny, near canada, he said it was SNOWING. March can be a rotten month..sometimes way worse than Feb.

Waves to everyone, I have RUN outta time, have to DRESS yet and head over to the office.. MAKE a GREAT day folks.. oh.. I DID post my trucker saga to yesterdays thread...

My menu was good yesterday. I'm not nearly as bloated today.

Carbs: 43 gms 110 cal 8% ECC: 32 gms
Fiber: 11 gms 0 cal 0%
Protein: 137 gms 547 cal 40%

Breakfast:
4 egg-beater omelet with 2 ozs lean ham and 1 oz cheddar
Breakfast drink - 8 ozs water, 1 envelope sf gelatine, 1 scoop sf orange citrucel
30 ozs coffee (regular, brewed)

Hi everyone!

I just posted a whole lot in the other thread so I am not going to say much here, but I am excited to get back with my Protein Power Pals, even if I am not exactly doing Protein Power anymore. Everyone here is so wonderful, and Protein Power is a great plan and helped me out so much to get to where I am today. Hope you all have a wonderful evening!

Hi, all! Checking in one more time before signing off for the night. Probably won't get a chance to post tomorrow. I'll be lurking, though!

And darn you again, Wendy. Now the CAD plan is all I can think of, and I can't wait to get to the bookstore tomorrow! I've done a little research, and the CAD Lifeplan (or whatever they call the second book) is specifically geared to people over 40. We're going to Florida on April 21, and I would really like to get down to 160 by then. A silly goal, what what the heck!

Plan: Protein Power maintenance

This has turned out to be quite the busy week

Yesterday's menu:

B - 2 eggs scrambled w 2 oz ham and a little diced onion in a tsp of butter, 1 cup coffee w/H&H cream

S - 1/2 carbwise bar

L - Steakhouse salad from applebees full order ate all of the meat, 1 tomato slice passed on the onion, diet pepsi

15 minute ab class (OUCH!), 1 hour yoga class

S- 2 deviled eggs

D - 6 oz baked boneless chicken thighs using the same recipe for the pork chops (almond flour, parmasan cheese, seasonings), Hienz SF ketchup, 1.5 cups mixed oriental veggies w/tsp butter

Dessert 4 strawberries sliced w/whipped cream

Today my appetite seems to have settled down a bit and well and my TOM issues. My workouts having pretty awesome! I am feeling good and strong but I must say my abs are so sore today!

I tried to follow a CAD like approach to maintenance and was not sucessful. It led me to gain back 5 pounds. I have too many issues with the type of carbs that are eaten with dinner or the CAD meal and I know it will lead me to failure. Having said that, I do not believe that is won't work for others, just not for me Heck....I couldn't even handle LC bread without eating way too much

Bawdy - I started to tan today too! Started out at 7 minutes, didn't want to burn my privates
