Hi, everybody. What a great evening! Kudos to Jean for setting it all up and remembering to take pictures (hey, the candle with the cheesecake was a nice touch, Sally), and Karen for the fabulous dessert (and for the minii-seminar on Germans Chocolate!) and everybody for being such great company.

Hmmm, since everyone seems keen to have another get together in December, how about December 4th?

That's a Thursday, about 3-4 weeks away, and not tooooo close to Christmas, which might be difficult for some. And maybe we could try the Rugby Grille this time?

HI all,

I can't guarantee that I can make it. Hubby is arriving back from Toronto business trip and landing at 7:35 pm if the plane is on time! Someone needs to drive 4 girls to and from soccer (they end at 8 pm) and drive son to and from guitar (ends at 7:30 pm).

Go ahead and plan it and if I can switch car-pooling for the soccer girls and if he gets an earlier flight - sometimes he switches if he is at the airport early - I may make it.

I already replied in the new thread that I'm coming. Are we having another birthday night (guessing that that is up to Karen)? (if so, perhaps we can all chip in on costs/labour for the cakes, they're certainly worth it!)
