Default updated gummies

I just made the jello gummy recipe and added some cream cheese and cream to the mixture and they are awsome. I used 6 unflavored jellos and 1 sugar free cherry jello. I added 1 cup of boiling water and mixed until all jello was dissolved. I used 2oz of cream cheese and 1 tbs of heavy cream and 1 stevia, and mixed these together and put a small spoonful into some mini muffin tins. I then filled the rest up with the jello mixture and put in the frig. The gummies taste great. I am not sure of the carbs but would seem to me to be very few. My kids just love these and they are so easy to make. Just thought I would share this twiste to a already great idea. Have a great day.

That sounds really fun! Think I'll try it using kool-aid since I don't use the sugar-free jellos. I wonder if I substitute Splenda for the Stevia, do you know how much approx. to use?

BTW are you in the airline industry? We are.

Hi Annie-Pie,
Yes I am in the Airline Industry. I am a pilot for Continental Airlines, I guess you can tell that I fly the 737s. I am currently on furlough however, due to the economy and the struggles the airlines have been going through. I am/was based in EWR. I have had the last 2 years off and it has really been nice cuz I have a 3 year old little girl and so I am not compaining. I expect to be back next year, perhaps in the summer if all goes well. I also have a 10 year old boy so having this time off has been a blessing ( Most of the time).
As far as the gummies go I did not use the splenda cuz of the extra carb, I have also used the davinci syrups. If you use the packets of splenda maybe try 1 and see if it is sweet enough, if not add 2. I kinda tried to make it similar to marshmellow filling, the kids love it.
So what part of the industry are you in? I really love aviation, I have been flying since college. Take care and have a good day.
Pam
