Default Really good crab cake recipe

Tonight I made up a recipe for crab cakes. They were soooo good. Hope I make them lc enough since I'm new to this.

Took 1 egg, 3 tbs mayo, squeeze of fresh lemon, tsp of Old Bay, tsp dry mustard, 2 tsp of mustard, 1 tsp of worschestire sauce, tiny bit of green onion and 2 tbs chopped fresh parsley and mixed it all together.

Then added 1 lb of jumbo lump crabmeat (broken up and kind of shredded with my hand) and some parmesan cheese.

Formed them into small patties and rolled in some more parmesan cheese (not a lot).

Put them in the fridge for an hour to help set then fried them in olive oil and butter. Drained on paper towels and then topped them with a little bit of unsweetened ketchup mixed w/mayo.

They were so yummy, I felt so satisfied after eating them. Probably ate too many. Made a total of 10 and I ate 3.

I am not good at estimating the carb count, so I hope I did good!

Lisa

When I make crab cakes I crush up a bag or a bag and a half of pork rinds. I add half of it to the crab cake mixture (as we used to add breadcrumbs? The balance of the crushed pork rinds I used to coat the crab cakes as you have done with the cheese. The crushed pork rind coating add a nice crunchy texture to them.

Yum, I love crab cakes and I HATE fish ... go figure!

I have never in my life eaten a crab cake and this sounds really good, so will have to give it a try.
