Default I found the best food

This food will increse your fat intake and can help keep your calories up and out of starvation mode....AND (the best part) it's a dessert that is low in carbs.

Boil water in microwave.
1 cup of boiling water should be whisked with 2 packets of knox unflavored gelatin and one packet of koolaid (any falovor you like!!!!).
Whisk in 7 tbs, of splenda.
Whisk in one cup of heavy cream (cold).

Refrigerate!!! after a few hours it's done (overnight is best)!!!!

There is about 23 carbs in teh whole dessert. I cut mine into 8 sections...which is abotu 4 carbs per serving.

I also put cream cheese in my gelatin....sometimes even a few chopped up berries. You can really make some wonderful desserts with knox gelatin!

I made the cream cheese jello for the first time last night. I used strawberry banana. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Finally a sweet treat that really tastes good!

Question

I was wondering, does mixing the cream cheese with the jello give it a mousse-like texture? I don't like jello because of the texture (although I think that it tastes and smells great). I just can't stomach swallowing it. It grosses me out. Anyway, I can handle things like mousse, cheesecake, something with a little "stiffness" to it. If it is more like pudding, whipcream, or yogurt, I won't eat it. I am so picky, but am exploring desserts for my sweet tooth. Thanks in advance for any advice.
~Julie
P.S. I have also heard that gelatin is made from ground up horse hooves, is this true? Gross!

Hi Julie! The cream cheese mixed with jello has a nice faux cheesecake texture! Yum!!

Don't know about the horses' hooves but it is possible!

Sounds cool
One thing to beware of though, folks, is of boiling water in a microwave! Nothing wrong with it, except if your vessel is new and scratch free there's a chance that you'll superheat the water if you leave it in too long. Then as soon as you disturb it, it could boil explosively!

Cheers

by the way all, jell-o is made with hooves...that is why eating jello is so goo for your nails and hair.
