Twofoofers - good luck w/ the new baby and thank you for sharing the article.

I guess I have to say I detected a note of sarcasm in her (or him - Kelly could be masculine) writing . While she presents the foods from a non-LC'ers point of view, and some of it I agree w/, she could have toned down her obvious distaste for locarbing.

Default low carb bread

AFter trying several low-carb products, there are some very good ones out there. I found a bread at Sam's Club that is naturally low carb. It is called Whole Wheat Sunflower and is supposed to be from a Bavarian bakery in Colorado. It has 7 grams of carbs per slice and the slices are huge and it tastes great. It is also much cheaper.

About the veggies. Since going on this diet I have never eaten so many!!! I think my diet is healthier now than ever.

I have never seen this bread, would you let us know the company name and address? Sounds like it would be worth tracking down. Thanks!

Default low carb bread

I was asked about the low-carb bread I mentioned. It is called Sunflower Whole Wheat Bread. It claims it has no artificial additives or preservatives and uses organic flours. The information on the wrapper says it made by the Bavarian Bakery, 613 Frontage Road, Longmont, CO 80501. Phone #303-678-1014. As I said, our Sam's Club carries it. Two large slices have 17 grams of carbs with 2 of fiber. Hope this helps. Linda

crysti,

Have you tried Thin Ice. Only 1 carb. ON the same idea as the Hard Lemonade but lighter tasting. Very refreshing on a warm afternoon.

Worth trying.
