I found them in Elk River and also in Princeton on our way to the lake.

I found some in Iowa. So, what does it taste like? What alcohol is in there, vodka?

I don't think Long beach brewing company and Smirnoff's are one and the same. They are a malt liquor, so they must be brewed like a beer type beverage (no vodka). I'm afraid my post name of "Smirnoff's Thin Ice" lead people astray.

I went to five stores in the Twin Cities metro area and couldn't find them. I asked at one store if they had "Thin Ice" and she responded " no, we only have cubes", try keep a straight face after that response!

We picked up a six pack of the Thin Ice this last weekend here in the Denver Metro area.

Just emailed them and asked for availability in MN, so now its wait and see if they respond.

I just got an e mail back from them. Thin Ice is not yet available in California yet.

OK, maybe rejoice is a bit strong but, they replied to me and said it should be at MGM Liquors. Now all we need is a response from the Lecarb people so we can have Ice cream with our refreshing malt beverage.

It's water ski days in LAKE CITY, MN and I needed some refreshment for the weekend! This is PERFECT!!!

One thing to note, when I asked for "SMIRNOFF THIN ICE" the liquor guy said it is NOT a SMIRNOFF product , but a different company, so DON"T CONFUSE IT TO SMIRNOFF ICE, it's NOT SMIRNOFF. Hopefully that didn't confuse anyone calling these liquor stores...........because it wasn't located by the SMIRNOFF ICE either.

We have TWO bars within 15 miles of here..(I TOLD you I live in the middle of nowhere!) I used to work for BOTH of them at one time or another..sooooooo...

I'll pester, bother, and shamelessly beg both former bosses to try to get this!

Otherwise, I guess I'll have to hope for the best the next time I make the 65-mile trip to "real" shopping!
