Thumbs up Atkins Morning Bars

I just bought a box of the new and improved Atkins Morning Bars in Cinnamon Bun and they were fantastic!! I will definetly be buying the other flavors soon especially the blueberry! I highly recommend these for morning or to have as a snack in your purse or work. The cinnamon bun bars were 2 net carbs. I am so happy to find a great low carb snack!!

Default Morning Bars

Now I have tried the blueberry and the apple. I liked the blueberry (although cinnamon bun is the still the best) but I didn't particularly care for the apple. It was too sweet (and I love sweet stuff!).

atkins bars: eat one a day. Change flavors (PB is the best) Its so good!
atkins syrups: they're pretty good. They're excellent when mixed with seltzer to make 0 carb sodas
atkins pancake syrup: YUCK! way too watery and diminished the taste of the pancake.
Atkins pancake mix: YUCK!!! its like an egg flop.
caramel chew: its ok, not the best but ok
PB cups: love them....so good

im getting the bake mix, banana nut mix, cranberry orange mix delivered to me tomorrow.
I only ordered those because they had the least carbs.
People say the lemon poppy mix and the cinnamon bun bar is good, so i'll order those next week.

Thumbs up Atkins Bars - wow

Ok, I am not a bar person and I really was NOT planning on eating them but last night, I was out with daughter and not eating dinner I was starving (it was about 9pm). I stopped in Walmart and they got a whole new shipment of Atkins Products (yippee!!) so I bought 2 bars - cookies & cream & almond brownie (?). I ate this cookies and cream bar and I cannot believe how Tasty it was! Much improved from the old stuff.

Now I hope it doesn't knock me out of the ketosis I FINALLY got back into.

They are quite yummy!!! My dh and I have at least one bar/day and one shake/day. We use it as our snack in the afternoon or late evening. My favorite is the choclate peanut butter. We just tried the cookies-n-cream and that's pretty good also.
I've used them all along and I'm on day #14--induction. I've been in ketosis since day 3.
I'm not going to eat them all day---but I don't think one will hurt.

Holly

I like the brownie one too. I have not tried the cookies and cream. They do not make me stall or do anything strange to my tummy. Yum.

You know, on the question of stalling out on Bars - - seems that some people do - others don't - I did but on other occasions they did not cause me problems. Personally, I think its a combo of things and that its not the "bars" or any one thing for most of us but a combo of things that cause "stalls". Just a thought.....

Personally I agree. I think that people's bodies naturally just need to take a break. And then when they don't lose weight for a few days, they assume they have stalled and cut out all these 'new' things. I think that some people probably have unnessasarily cut out bars, shakes, cream, diet soda, berries, nuts - whatever, when it may have been other factors? That is just my thoughts....

Default ditto on the yum

I had one yesterday for lunch because I knew wouldn't have time for a real meal (and I didn't want to go into my job interview with tuna breath.) I was supprised by how good it was. I ordered a box of the peanutbutter and chocolate. Seems like they'd be good to have around in emergencies.

Have any of you tried the new Atkins breakfast bars?
Very tasty, and as an added benifit
13 total carbs (6 fiber, 4 glycerin, and 1 suger alchohol)
I think they taste much better than regular advantage bars, and have much less artificial carbs so you have less "side effects"

Default Where is the cheapest place to buy Atkins bars?

I don't want to get hooked on them and eat them all the time...but I would like to enjoy them as a treat now and then. I just can't bring myself to pay almost $2.00 for a candy bar...when I was used to $.33 before, KWIM? Is there someplace that I can get them at a more reasonable price?

Tricia
