I had joined the challenge, and I haven't weighed myself since two weeks ago, and as I suspected I haven't lost a thing. In fact the scale was a little higher. I was secretly hoping for a woosh, but knew that it would not be there. It's now official...I've been in a stall for a month now. Awwww

Unhappy Stalled

Well - it's official. I am still at 185 and I have been for nearly 6 weeks. I need to work on cutting back the calories - a little less fat perhaps. We have been kinda revelling in the fat intake. I also need to get into a regular workout routine.

Congrats to SweetSheri, Theresa113 & Carey80 - way to GO!

Default Mother's Day

Happy belated mother's day to everyone.

As for the challenge, I;'ve decided to wait until next Monday to weigh myself in since my TOM began yesterday. So, I'll keep you all posted.

Congratulations to all those who lost and to those that didn't hang in.

I failed the challenge. I had to step on the scale. I was so afraid I was not losing. I am still sort of new to this WOE and still trying to figure out what works for me. Without weighing everyday I don't know how else I can tell. If the scale goes up, I can look back at the last day or two. Sometimes I may not find anything - and I will write that off to the scale having a mind of its own. But sometimes I may be able to make a connection, or see a pattern.

So! For me, I decided that the scale is a good tool.

This was a fun and enlightening challenge tho. I learned a lot.

Congrats to those of you who did see a nice change in numbers

Hang in there to those of you who didn't - I am hangin' in with you.

Here's how it went...
I had a Dr.s appointment on the 8th, pelvic, roto rooter, smashed boobies... the whole enchilada!!
I had made up my mind to go ahead and weigh...
So first thing on May 8th, I weighed... the same ole 168.
Went to the Dr. and weighed 168! fully clothed! Nurse says she always subtracts 3 lbs for clothing (hmmm, nope not gonna take it). Anyway, had all my tests done (Chol. 169 btw!!).

On Saturday I weighed again and I'm down 2 lbs! I've given up on whooshes! But Dr. wants me off Birth Control pills... that may help with the resistance... and my BP is coming down nicely... so maybe soon I'll be off those meds too! yippee!

Anyway, it was a nice experiment! Will I stay away from the scale? I doubt it... but I may not weigh EVERY day now.

I have been losing inches and I HAVE been getting lots of compliments... hey, who needs scales when you got that??
