Talking Whoooosh!!

Guess What??

I woke up this morning and found that I'd lost 31.5 pounds!!!!!!!! Whooooosh!

Today was the end of two months on this WOE, and I'm soooo excited. I "mini-stalled" during weeks 3-7 (up and down the same 2 pounds), but this last week or so I lost 6.5 pounds!!!!

I'm only .5lb away from my first big goal: 250lbs. I know this doesn't sound as wonderful as "Onederland," but it is a major deal for me! I hope I can just maintain over the next week, as I'm going on a Spring Break Service Trip for a week, beginning on Saturday.

Whoo hoo!
Sue

Congratulations and especially congratulations on hanging in there from week three to seven when you weren't losing! Too many people give up when they have a post-induction stall, but as your experience shows, the weight does start moving again.

Great work,

I know from personal experience that weeks 3-7 suck as I am just into week 8 and I am finally starting to lose again. I am very impressed that you lost 6.5 lbs. Did you do anything differently during that week?

Take care and GREAT JOB!!!

Thanks, everybody!

I'm excited!

Janie3k, I don't know how scientific it is, but I did 3 things a little differently:

1) cut calories down to what my BMR said I should be doing (about 2000, as opposed to 2200). This wasn't a big change, but who knows?;
2) I added an oil of oregano (150mg) gel cap, a Co-Q 10 capsule, and an multidophilus +DDS-1 each day because I thought I might have a yeast issue; and
3) I cut out nuts, all fake sugars including splenda (I used Stevia powder), and milk products other than cream cheese and mozzerella b/c, as I said above, I thought I might have a yeast problem or a food allergy.
