Default Grapeseed oil?

I found grapeseed oil in the sale bin, but wasn't sure how healthy it is. Appreciate any input.

high flash point. I use some for a while but dropped it. I don't really use oil anymore for cooking - using lard mostly. I think there is one thing in grapeseed oil that is interesting. I recall teaser reviewing it or talking about it maybe a year ago.

I'd say give it a try Bonnie. It didn't kill me but it didn't make me stronger either

If there's still a jar in the bin tomorrow, I'll pick it up. Might be interesting. I use olive oil for salad dressings, but a couple of recipes need a lighter touch than EVOO.

If I recall it is a very unflavorful oil. I can't remember if I tried to make mayo with it. I'll check my journal...

I don't remember exactly but it was something that didn't turn out like I expected. A brutal accident...

Found, wait, that doesn't look so bad. I think it's 'hazmat' because it probably nuclear hot with ripe habenero peppers. There was some other soup that was a bad accident from left over corned beef drippings or something.

This looks like coconut soup base, much fat, chicken, shirataki and some kind of greens, probably spinach...

Grape seed oil contains mostly Omega-6 fatty acids, the bad kind.

I keep getting the 3 & 6 mixed up.

At least I bought only 1 bottle - I won't be using it daily.

Thanks - I looked at the ones I use. For grapeseed, he doesn't recommend high heat, so I'm good there - I rarely cook anything at high heat. And I’ll probably use it in salad dressing anyway. I'm looking forward to the "buttery" flavor.
