Ha, Teaser, that made me laugh too - we are laughing WITH you I typo all the time!

Tonight I made a Spinach Cheese Casserole, had a little of that - and French Onion Soup made with sauteed portobello mushroom slices instead of bread. I used Smoked Gouda on it which is tasty, but somebody forgot to set the timer so my cheese burned to a black crisp. I filled another ramekin for a re-do and darn if I didn't do it again! This time I got it out before it burned completely but...note to self: Broilers are hot and burn things left in for more than a minute...

Roasted chicken, and veggie mix on the side - snow peas, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. I was a little disappointed in the chicken; the texture was kind of rubbery. I think I'll avoid that brand in the future. Oh well, I have the carcass in the crock pot for broth, and maybe I'll turn the rest of the meat into a curry tomorrow.

You guys are making me hungry! Tonight we're having bratwurst with steamed broccoli + home made keto cheese sauce. I very seriously considered having chicharones with cream cheese for the laziest dinner in history, but we decided we were hungry enough to make a real dinner tonight

Teaser and mviesprite- I went to grad school and all I got is this need for glasses?

Saturday was a special night out with my family for my DH's bday. I have always avoided their famous cream of crab bisque because I figured it would be carby (as most restaurant soups are). But lucky me, they released their famous recipe and someone put into fit day or spark and so the nutritional a are online!
10 net carbs per cup- this is steep, but I knew if I was really careful with other carbs, it could work.

Cup of amazing cream of crab soup
Half a dozen steamed little neck clams
Side salad with vinaigrette (just greens, pepitas and a little shaved Parmesan)
2 Glasses of Viognier

Last night was simple-
Mussels in garlic lemon butter.

Oh, Robin the crab soup sounds so good.... Ha yes, we ALL need glasses

Froka and Beauty- we just call them pork rinds - but when I moved to CA I saw they were called chiccarones. I also found that there is a world of difference between bakenets and the really frest good ones at Winco...

Last night, Southwestern style chili, jack cheese
tonight: the last half of a bacon-wrapped petit filet, and a small green salad with a green style dressing (homemade)

Here in BC all I can find is Lay's Bakenettes or Old Dutch Pork Rinds. Just for a snack the bakenettes are better but for cooking I prefer the Old Dutch brand.

Dinner last night was Cheesy broccoli and chicken casserole and a tossed salad.

Was planning on BBQ chicken stuffed bell peppers, but someone only left me with one pepper, and I don't want to go to store until tomorrow. So.....plot twist! Now will do sf BBQ chicken with melted cheese and make a side of halved grape tomatoes with an apple cider vinaigrette since those need to get eaten up soon.

I'll have to try fresh ones- I've only ever had Bakenets! They can't be hard to find here in San Diego, we *love* our spicy Mexican food down here.

Speaking of... tonight's dinner is beef fajita bowls with cheese, sour cream, and guac
