The weather! Schools are all closed down again today. Driving is horrible. I cannot wait for spring, and I usually love winter. Keep warm and drive safe everyone!

This forum is addictive!!! I have replaced my carb addiction! Yes, we had freezing rain but not as bad as NS. I visited my brother in greenwood last weekend and driving back Sunday night was horrible. At least we didn't get any flooding. I was taking to one guy whose water pipes froze and broke uring the cold snap and then his basement flooded during the rain, all within a couple of weeks. I asked him if it was time to move. He said. "Yeah, to florida!" Thank God for our sense of humor!

Talking

Foxeylady and Bonnie, I am desperately trying to learn to gracefully take a compliment.

Thank you.

(ok, so not exactly graceful, but I refrained from asking if you were sure you were looking at pictures of me, that's progress!!!)

Bonnie, DH and I have plans to be down home for a wedding this summer, as the time approaches I will try to get in touch, maybe we can meet.

Default Bonnie!!

Hi there I'm originally from Freddy also!!!
I'm in Bathurst right now, and can't find hardly any LC stuff!!ARGH!!!
I was wondering if you could give me a more detailed list of LC stuff and where you get it in Freddy for my next visit home, so I can stock up??
You had mentioned Ross bars at the candy store in Brookside mall, and pork rinds at Bulk Barn, any other good places to check out?? Thanks a bunch!!
So nice to see a coupe of NBers around!!

i just want to say Hi!
I am from Ontario and trying to move to New Brunswick.
I am going to check out Fredericton this summer.
Can you suggest any other towns or cities that are safe, clean and large enough to have a hospital and public transit?
I know this is an unusual request seeing that this is a low carb site but I couldnt help myself

there...I just returned from Florida and haven't been out to the malls lately but the candy store in the Brookside mall is now closed....you can try the Fredericton Mall...there is a Health Food store there that carries a few products...like Delight bars (generic of the Ross') and other Atkins products...I also recently saw the Atkins advantage bars in the Superstore on the northside in the Health food section...I have personally not bought any of these products lately and am trying to stick with just the basics but know these items are sometimes helpful to keep one on track...also try Scoop and Save on Prospect Street...and of course the grocery stores carry several items like Chapman's Ice cream etc...good luck in your search...B

Since I live in Fredericton of course I would suggest it but several of the larger cities like Moncton, Bathurst etc all have the amenities you are looking for....B

Talking Hello GuidosGirl

I raced on a sailboat all weekend in the Bedford Basin, so I can tell you, I know how cold it is, not as Bad as racing off Point Pleasant Park in May though.
So I'm in Bedford, and I'll keep the thread going with you if you want. Others will jion, they're here.
