Default Great Low-carb Snack Recipe

Hey Everybody,

I just found this great new dry-roasted low-carb macadamia nut recipe. It is just wonderful!! I also like plain dry-roasted macadamias, but this recipe is just fabulous:

MAUNA LOA® “LOA-CARB” HAWAIIAN SPICE MACADAMIA NUTS
2 cups Mauna Loa Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts
1 egg white
1 tablespoon water
3 packets sugar substitute
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ginger

1. Heat oven to 275 F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, spray with nonstick cooking spray.

2. In a large bowl, mix egg white, water, sugar substitute, salt, pepper, cumin, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cayenne. Add nuts; mix until evenly coated.

3. Spread nuts in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Serves 8. Store in airtight container.

Nutritional information per ¼ cup serving

This is a great recipe, let me know how you like it!
