Default ? for female heavy lifters

Hi,
I have slowly veered away from super locarb, and thus, this site. I'd really like to know of any forums/ great sites dedicated to female lifters (not bodybuilders). I have been powerlifting for a couple years and started olympic lifting last spring. I love it and feel great, but very isolated. I lift with my boyfriend and other men, and am aware of all the mostly male centered websites. Testosterone nation just isn't doing it for me! I'm looking for female opinions and voices on this sport!!! Anything at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If you go to this lady's journal (pammy) she lifts I think. She might be able to give you the support you need - she's a real laugh actually and has some great photos in her gallery of her progress.
Good luck!

Hi there

There are quite a few female lifters on this board, and we're always happy to have one more if you want to stick around. There's a women's sticky that would LOVE your input!

I've just started doing a few Olympic lifts myself (just hang cleans and hang pulls for now) and I really like 'em.

Why not start up a gym log? I'd love to pick your brains on some more of the Oly lifts.

Cheers!

Wow, thanks guys!

Built- those are some impressive arms!!! I looked at your gym log and saw that we do some very similar things. The main difference is that I don't use any machines (only the tortuous squat rack and weights in my garage.)
It's great to find a female who's learning the clean (& jerk) too.
I am gonna take your advice on a gym log.
Thanks!!!

Hey there - thanks about my arms. I'm a little too proud of them maybe , but I worked VERY hard to make them.

I don't use a whole lot of machines either - cables, and sometimes a leg press, but that's it. I do free weights.

I haven't tried clean and jerk yet - that one's coming in a few months when I switch up my programme again. I'm very glad to have someone to ask for tips!
