I had to share this recipe. It's great on ribs. Just brush it on near the end of grilling.
Combine and heat:
12-14 oz sugar free catsup
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tsp. Splenda
liberal sprinkle of red and black pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 of a seeded lemon, diced fine
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. ground coriander
1/8 tsp. Spanish paprika
1/8 tsp. saffron
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
For a smoky flavor, put some mesquite chips in foil and lay on the coals.
I was looking for something like this for some skinless chicken drumsticks I got really cheap. I put them in the crockpot overnight on low. I removed the chicken and thickened the sauce with some guar gum, which was fantastic over vegetables.
I threw this together with beef in the crockpot for dinner tonight. It smells delish! It's been so long since I have had some decent BBQ sauce...I'm excited to taste it tonight!
Is there any way someone could point me in the direction of how to find the actual carb count in this. I made this last night and it was excellent! I think too good, something tells me it has a pretty high carb count, lol.

I went to SelfNutrition Data and did an analysis of recipe - had to use teaspoon for all the spices; but if I did everything correct, using 12 ounces of Heinz reduced sugar catsup, I came up with a total of 24 ounces with a 1 ounce serving having 2 carbs. Now need to figure out how many tablespoons equal 1 ounce. Hope this helps everyone. If someone else comes up with a different count, please please correct.
