Just finished my second month on atkins
So far, I've lost 18.6lbs in two months. But the bulk of the loss came in my second month because I didn't follow Atkins properly during the first month: drinking diet sodas every day instead of water! Using Splenda packets which contain hidden carbs. And consuming too many carbs. By the end of the first month, and frustrated my loss was only about six lbs, I decided to do Atkins "clean" and what a difference that made!
I've been lurking the past several days and read about combining Intermittent fasting with Atkins diet. Makes a lot of sense to me and tried it yesterday( 23:1). The scale this morning shows a 1.6lb drop which indicates it's a potent combination, but I'm also a little nervous about it because I don't want to potentially hurt my health. I'll try it for a few more days and if I feel progressively weaker, I will back off.
This forum is interesting and useful. Thanks for existing.
