Default MCT oil

Does anyone know if MCT oil goes rancid? I bought a big bottle of it from Netrition a couple years ago and didn't start using it until just recently. The use-by date is not readable so I can't go by that. Since I just take it by the spoonful and don't mix it in with anything it doesn't taste very good. I'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to taste like or if it has gone bad. As long as I don't have any bad effects I probably will continue to take it as I am a cheapskate and don't want to waste it. If I remember correctly it was quite expensive.

I've never used it but I know that all oil will go rancid. I have to refrigerate my sesame oil because I don't use it fast enough. I also had to throw away some olive oil because I smell that it had gone rancid.

Maybe buy some fresh one?
