Question Hidden carbs in salad dressing and meat

Hi, I'm a newbie here. Just a question I'm sure you all have heard about a million times...I am on induction and I was wondering if you can have salad dressings ham, summer sausage etc... with a little hidden sugar in them as long as you are counting the carbs?? I can't seem to find any that don't contain a little. I think ham says dextrose and the salad dressings say sugar on the label. I know I'm supposed to keep as close to natural meats as possible but summer sausage and cheese are a real easy thing to take with me to work for a snack. Thanks so much in advance for any help you can give me.

Annie

You will probably get differing opinions on this! I try to get the ham, etc with the lowest possible sugar content, becuase I like you can't seem to find many of those types of things without it. If I cut them out totally, my meal plan could possibly get so boring that I wouldn't stick with it.

Of course I always count the carbs. While I may not be a super-fast loser, I have lost 40 pounds since Jan 29, 02 - not bad if I do say so myself!

The bottom line is everyone is different, some can handle the little added sugars, some can't. You will need to experiment and try it out yourself.
