Question Hip & Leg Aches

I've been doing Atkins since 2-4-02 and have been educating myself on LCing through this wonderful forum. I've read that by adding potassium (Nu-Salt 1/8 tsp) to my diet will help the hip and leg muscle aches I am experienceing. I am also taking magnesium supplements each day in addition to several other vitamins. I notice that when I try to exercise on my treadmill, my hips and legs aches so much when I'm done that I need to take a pain reliever to get through the day. Before Atkins, I didn't have this problem. Maybe the dosages I'm taking of the potassium and the other supplements isn't enough, too much, etc. Can anyone give me some advise? Many thanks.

Question

This is just my 2 cents ok.But I had the
same problem, The cramps and pain was
so bad that it would wake me up at night.
Kind of reminded me of highschool sports.

Then I started thinking how things were
befour I started atkins. I would sit down
every time I got a chance. I would go to
sleep after eating lunch wake up late
and sit down have a few beers as soon as
I got home.

But then after about 3 weeks when I had lost
weight I would never sit down at work, dident
care how far away from the store I parked
I felt lighter!!When I got home I would mow
the lawn, clean house,Just go windo shopping
I dident wont to sit around any more.with
less weight you have a greater range of motion
That you may of not had four years.

Takes a little time four your Legs to chatch up
to your new way of life. That was in my case.
opinions may vary.

Good luck!!

Go to the Newbies Questions Forum and at the top of the page you will see a thread titled Hot Links! Look in the thread for a link called Multi-Vitamins and Cal/Mag/K for the correct dosages.
