I don't usually post threads like this...i try to stay on the supportive/neutral side...but lately i've been reading alot of threads on here that are just so so negative. I'm not understanding what the reasoning is behind posting something rude, demeaning or insulting. If you read a thread that you don't like, or that you don't agree with...be it in the sucess gallery or in the war zone...voice your opinion tactfully and most importantly, voice it respectfully...and when you're done typing..if you read it...and it just sounds rude....well then just don't say anything at all...and unsubscribe to the thread.
We're all here with common goals..no matter how big or small we are, no matter the reason for being on LC...so lets stop being so snippy with each other and remember why we're here.

Me too..iv'e been on this board for so long, and it's like sometimes...some people feel compelled to just make my jaw drop...lol. I mean, i know some of the posts are in the war zone..but geez...we should still be respectful...or so i thought ?!

Well, bear in mind that some people who vent here in the War Zone might be posting dozens of supportive posts to newbies every day. Maybe letting off steam here helps them be nicer out there?

I'm not speaking of myself, by the way. I specialize in numbingly long boring link-filled posts, not sweet supportive ones.

I know what you mean. Some people act like it's all black or white & no in between.

What I find annoying is the ones that have a lot to say & then won't hear your side. I've just learn to leave them alone. It reminds me of little kids covering their ears & saying "I don't hear you"

I feel everyone deserve respect as well. If you don't agree then ingore them & they go away. Is that so hard to ask?

Some people have a bad day and just end up popping off for some reason. Ive experienced it myself and Ive seen it done. Although in a perfect world no one would do that..this world isnt perfect.

And Some people are just more blunt and to the point than others and while some people can appreciate that kind of personality alot of people get offended and think its rude or insensitive.

Some people are just too arrogant to admit they're wrong about something. Sad, because they have some other wonder posts and they're a good read.
